TOURING
HUDSON SHAD FANS - Before the future, let's discuss 2008!
HUDSON SHAD was not in hibernation!
We debuted with the ATLANTA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA Feb.2008 in Oliver Knussen's Where The Wild Things Are, conducted by the composer, and yes, Hudson Shad played the roles of the Wild Things! We also played a concert in Augusta.
In March 2008 HUDSON SHAD debuted with the NASHVILLE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA in Weill's Seven Deadly Sins with Ute Lemper.
In May and September 2008 HUDSON SHAD sang a few concerts, galas and parties in good old Germany!
In June 2008 HUDSON SHAD debuted at the GREEN LAKE FESTIVAL in Wisconsin.
In August 2008 HUDSON SHAD was invited by conductor Charles Dutoit to return to the SARATOGA PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, NY, to premier a new English version of Stravinsky's RENARD.
And in October HUDSON SHAD rejoined Ute Lemper, this time with the TORONTO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA conducted by Peter Oundjian, for Seven Deadly Sins in Toronto. After the Toronto performances, the entire orchestra and cast traveled to NYC for the CARNEGIE HALL PREMIER of SEVEN DEADLY SINS!
